Terrifying movie – the most disturbing thing about it was the fact that a whole community of people pooled all there money and time to create this film – lacked a story and when you felt like there was a narrative, there wasn’t much substance to it – long sequences of semi horror / possessions that become boring rather than scary after a while – I have no clue why they produced this film

Star Trek (2009)

Great film – break away from old Trekkie films – more of an action flick with plenty of effects and flash – didn’t really need to know back story of previous Trek films or series – simple story / plenty of special effects

Gay movie about an Irish Chicagoan man who is trying to tell his family he is gay and maintain his secret relationship.  Done like a biography/documentary/movie style – quality of writing and filmography is between a mediocre hollywood movie and a mediocre tv film – not great

Aeon Flux

Action scifi film staring charlize theron based on an animated series created in the early 1990s – takes place in a post apocalyptic world that has been recreated as a utopic society that is slowly unraveling – good storyline – not as much effects or flash as you would expect from a film like this – ok but not great

An Irish Australian biography from the early 1900s – a sad film about how the Irish were unfairly treated by the British – an under dog film without a happy ending – great acting, great story – sad ending
